Two paintings that reflect an attraction to these colors came about at different times. Some paintings come very rapidly and some develop over time. Strength in Color is a canvas I painted over multiple times until the final painting was revealed.

Texture was created by using a thick coat of plaster like material over one of my existing oil paintings. Then sanded to bring out only areas I desired to show through. Final steps were to paint with Acrylic paint to add color to the surface.
